An enhanced, end-to-end notification solution for victims & public safety agencies in New York

Enhanced End-to-End Victim Notification, powered by VINE® & Versaterm CommunityConnect™ enables more efficient and quality communications between the community and law enforcement, while increasing peace of mind for victims as they navigate across the criminal justice process.

Versaterm & VINE are working together to provide:

  • A connected solution, starting as early as a 9-1-1 call, through investigation, custody, and release
  • An automated workflow, that reduces gaps in communication and manual effort for law enforcement
  • Metrics & reporting that show impact of these technologies funded by government program

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services has made funding available to the New York State Sheriffs Institute. This is in support of providing a software platform for crime victim notification and community engagement across law enforcement agencies in New York, as an extension of VINE's victim notification service. This funding allows Versaterm to provide their CommunityConnect™ software and services interfaced with NY VINE, resulting in an end-to-end Victim Notification Solution. The funding covers all aspects of the project, i.e., deployment, training, software integration and support services. There is no cost of participation for the agencies. Funding is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
